Sustainability

Son Cardaix

The Son Cardaix cycle

At Son Cardaix, sustainability is not experienced as a series of isolated actions, but as a natural way of understanding the finca and everything that happens within it.

Most of the energy that powers the establishment comes from the sun, while water is managed through intelligent irrigation systems that optimise every contribution according to the real needs of the countryside and the vegetable garden.

Organic waste generated in the kitchen is transformed into natural compost that returns to the land, helping to nourish new crops – thus closing a coherent circle between production, consumption and regeneration.

Among almond trees, olive trees, avocados, fruit trees, vegetables, aromatic herbs and the bees that guarantee the balance of the crops, the finca functions as a living system where every element plays an essential role.

Rather than applying isolated measures, at Son Cardaix we try to respect a simple principle: that everything remains connected to the land.

Nothing is lost. Everything continues.
